Cynthia Jane (Anderson) LaBine

Cyndi LaBine, 51, lifelong resident of Argyle, MN, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017, in the Sanford Health Palliative Care unit, Fargo, ND, with her husband by her side.

Cynthia Jane Anderson was born on July 2, 1966, in Warren, MN, to Dean and Linda (Hangsleben) Anderson. She attended Argyle Public School, class of 1984. After graduating, she became a beautician, earning her Associate's degree through Northland College in Thief River Falls, MN.

On May 30, 1987, Cyndi was united in marriage to Charles LaBine in St. Rose Catholic Church, Argyle. The couple made their home in town and raised three children, Cyndi staying home to take care of them for a number of years. After the kids were in school, she became bookkeeper for Charles' electrician business, and worked until her health began to prevent her in November of 2013.

Cyndi was an excellent mother and there wasn't anything she wouldn't do for her kids. She was their greatest supporter and friend, and she always went out of her way to help them. In the course of her battle with cancer, she showed a great deal of empathy; doing what she could to help ease the struggles of others coping with the same disease that she herself had. It was a long, hard struggle, but she worked through it with grace and patience, even refusing pain medication up until the end.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Charles; three children, Gabriel and Jane of Argyle, and Hannah of Grand Forks, ND; parents, Dean and Linda Anderson; brothers, Jeff (Liz) and Jason Anderson all of Argyle; mother-in-law, Doris Labine; siblings-in-law, Mark (Judy), Noel (Diana), and Karen LaBine; and Julie LaBine.

Cyndi was preceded in death by her brother, John; and sisters-in-law, Barbara, Jeanne, and Myra.

FUNERAL MASS: Friday, November 24, 2017, at 10:30 AM, in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Argyle, MN.
VISITATION: One hour prior to Mass.
INTERMENT: St. Rose Catholic Cemetery, Argyle.
