Donna Landreville

Donna Landreville was born on November 19, 1940, to William and Mabel (Haugen) Olson in Warren, Minnesota. She passed away on May 21, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Center in Warren at the age of 75, after a battle with cancer.

Donna grew up in a large family of seven brothers and five sisters, and she attended elementary and high school in Newfolden, MN. Donna was married to Larry Landreville in Argyle, MN, on July 25th, 1959. Together they raised three children, David, Diane, and Lawrence.

Donna was a hard worker, and over the years worked at the Warren Hospital, Post office, and the Marshall County Fair. She came to faith at a Billy Graham Crusade in Fargo, ND, in 1987. Donna was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and enjoyed participating in Ladies Aid and various Bible studies.

Donna liked looking for bargains at auctions and garage sales, baking, gardening, and canning their homegrown produce. She greatly valued her relationships with others. She was always making new friends and staying in touch with old ones. While at the Good Samaritan Center she enjoyed the relationships she built with the staff and other residents, and she was crowned Queen during the National Nursing Home Week in 2015.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; six brother; five sisters; her son, Lawrence; and three grandchildren, Jonathan, Jaren, and Jessica.

Left to mourn her passing are Larry Landreville; her brother, Junior Olson; and her children, David Landreville and Diane (Neil) Johnson. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jeremy Anderson, Jake (Danielle) Landreville, Amanda (Clayton) Kraby, Emily (Ryan) Fisher;three great-grandchildren, Everett Kraby, Hannah Kraby, and Hunter Landreville; as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

Visitation: Tuesday, May 24, from 6-7 PM, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM, in DuBore Funeral Home, Warren; and one hour prior to services at the church.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at 2:00 PM, in Zion Lutheran Church, Warren, MN.

Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Warren, MN.
