Doris Gloude

Doris Mae (Anderson) Gloude was born at home in Viking, MN on November 26, 1922 and passed away peacefully at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND on January 12, 2017, entering into the eternal presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Doris grew up in Viking and graduated from Newfolden High School. She had jobs in Roseau and Viking before moving to Warren in 1946, to work as a bookkeeper at the Warren Creamery. Doris met Doug through the Red River Valley Young People’s church picnics. It was love at first car ride!

Doug and Doris were married August 9, 1952 and made their home in Warren where they raised their four children. This past August, they celebrated 64 loving years together! Warren Covenant has been their church home where they have worshipped and enjoyed serving and being involved in a variety of ministries through the years. Doris worked 23 years at what is now Bremer Bank. In her spare time she enjoyed painting, baking, gardening, playing the piano, volunteering in many community organizations and attending any activity that her children and grandchildren were involved in!

Left to celebrate her life are her husband Douglas of Warren, MN, her children Donavon (Karen) Gloude of Excelsior, MN; Delsie (Alan) Baxter of Minneapolis, MN; David (Keely) Gloude of Ladera Ranch, CA; eight grandchildren - Chelsey, Ian (Chaley), Colin, Daniel, Karli, Emma, Aleck, Gavin and one great grandson Oliver!

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Aleck and Jennie Anderson and her son, Duan Edward Gloude.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Evangelical Covenant Church in Warren, MN.

VISITATION: 5:00 – 7:00 PM with a 6:30 PM short service on Sunday at DuBore Funeral Home in Warren and one hour before services at the church on Monday.

INTERMENT: Greenwood Cemetery, Warren, MN
