George P. LaBine

George P. LaBine passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at the Altru Hosptial in Grand Forks, ND at the age of 85.

George P. LaBine was born on October 31, 1918 in French Town (Argyle, MN), the son of Phillip and Elize (Proulx) LaBine. He was a life long resident of the Argyle community. George married Bernice Stancyk on April 14, 1942 in Florian, MN. He worked for area farmers. Bernice died in 1997.

He enjoyed dancing with his special friend Ruth Wasylow.

Left to mourn his passing are two children; Ronnie (Linda) LaBine of Warren, MN and Bernadette (Doug) Wermager of Forest Lake, MN. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Nathan, Trisha, Jennifer, Michael and Mary, three great-grandchildren, Andrew, Angeline and Grant, three sisters; Margaret Carlson of Bayport, MN, Carol (Tom) Fox of Inver Grove Heights, MN and Muriel LaBine of Anaheim, CA and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Oliver and two sisters, Rita Bergeron and Helen Albreight.

FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 24, 2004 at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Argyle, MN.
VISITATION: one hour before services at the church on Saturday.
INTERMENT: Calvary Cemetery, Warren, MN.
