Isabelle Kathryn Nowacki

Isabelle Nowacki, 94, of Argyle, MN, died on July 30, 2015, in Pioneer Care Center, Erskine, MN.

Isabelle Kathryn was born on March 23, 1921, to John and Stella (Przybylski) Gratzek, in Wright Township, Marshall County, MN. She grew up in the Florian, MN, area, where she attended country school.

On June 15, 1943, Isabelle was united in marriage to Clarence Nowacki in Florian. They made their home in rural Argyle, Alma Township, where they farmed for many years. Isabelle also worked for several years at Warren Hospital. She was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church right up until its closing. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and embroidery, as well as being around her family and grandchildren.

Isabelle is survived by her children, Leonard (Maxine) Nowacki, Roger (Kathy) Nowacki, Ronald (Jane) Nowacki, and Barbara (Dwight) Kuebler; eight grand children; five great-grandchildren; sister, Loretta Borowicz; brother, John Gratzek; and sisters-in-law, Theresa Gratzek and Adele Guthrie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; brothers, Lambert and Rudolph Gratzek; and grandson, Christopher Nowacki.

Visitation: One hour prior to Mass.
Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, August 3, 2015, at 10:30 AM, in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Argyle.
Interment: St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Alma Township.
