Welcome to the memorial page for

Jeremy J. Boman

November 23, 1975 ~ June 8, 2016 (age 40) 40 Years Old

Jeremy Boman, 40, of Alvarado, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Weds, June 8, 2016.

Jeremy John Boman was born on November 23, 1975, to Randy and Kathy (Mack) Boman, in Grand Forks, ND. He grew up in Alvarado, MN, where he spent summers helping his grandpas and uncles farm. A gifted athlete, he graduated from WAO High School in 1995, and moved around a bit while working as a welder. He was married to Nicole Mathews for several years and they have two beautiful children, Brooklynn and Quinn.

Jeremy was a farm kid at heart and recently returned to his roots, moving back to Alvarado, and farming with his uncle, Sonny, and cousin, Mitchell. He enjoyed being outdoors and his favorite times were hunting at Fourtown with his dad, brother, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jeremy had a passion for racing and you would find him at the races most Fridays watching his cousins, often with his kids in tow. He loved Harley-Davidsons and riding them. Jeremy was also surprisingly artistic. He enjoyed manipulating metal, with his welding skill, into furniture and other pieces.

His love for his children was impeccable: they were his entire world. He loved to watch his daughter, Brooklynn, perform and taking both Quinn and her to go swimming. He was a cherished big brother by his sisters and brother and will be remembered for all the special memories he created with them, as well as with his best friend, Tracy, and her children.

Jeremy came to know the Lord with a strong love, and attended Hope Covenant Church in Grand Forks for several years. The Word was his light and his salvation, and we rest knowing that we will see him again one day.

Jeremy is survived by his parents, Randy and Kathy Boman; his children, Brooklynn and Quinn; his siblings, Travis (Jen) Boman of Alvarado, MN, Krystal (Joe Zavorski) Boman of Denver, CO, and Nikki (Nathan) Peterson, of Warren, MN; nephews, Andrew, Brian, Liam, and Thayer; his grandparents, Alvin and Eva Boman, Don and Janis Mack; and friends, Tracy Jamieson, Zach, and Logan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred for the family to give charitably.
