John Boman

John Boman, 63, of Thief River Falls, MN, formerly of Warren, MN, passed away on Saturday afternoon, July 4, 2015 at his home with his family by his side.

John Richard Boman was born on April 23, 1952 in Helena, Montana, the son of John and Darlene (Mykleby) Boman. He was raised in Warren and graduated from Warren High School. On July 5, 1972, he was united marriage to Bonnie Olson. They made their home in Thief River Falls. He worked at Arctic Cat for 25 years.

He enjoyed fishing, archery hunting and rifle hunting.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Bonnie; two children, Michelle (David) Schmaltz and David (Sara) Boman all of Barnesville, MN; seven grandchildren, Corey, Hope, Dylan, Kailey, Alysia, Trenton and Brittney; siblings, Karen (Tom) Bushaw of Manvel, ND, Susan Boman of Warren, MN, Judy Boman of Crookston, MN, Mary Boman of Warren, MN, Jane (Jon) Kobetsky of East Grand Forks, MN, Nancy and Josh Wurtz of Warren, MN, Cindy (Tony) Fenno of Crookston, MN and Jeff Boman (Cindy Donarski) of East Grand Forks, MN; sister-in-law, Susan Boman of Warren, MN; brothers-in-law, Darrell (Cherryl) Olson of Alvarado, MN, Mike Olson of Circle Pines, MN, Wally (Nancy) Olson of Grand Forks, ND, Scott Olson of North Carolina and James (Diane) Olson of East Grand Forks, MN; sister-in-law, Mary Olson of East Grand Forks, MN and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donald and Thomas; sister, Patricia; niece, Patricia and brother-in-law, Ricky Olson.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Will be held at a later date.

INTERMENT: Greenwood Cemetery, Warren, MN
