Jon was like a little brother, growing up a mile away. I used to pick him up for rides to Nokomis Beach in Mpls when I was 16 and had a car. We used to get hot dogs and a pop at the concession stand. He joined our family vacations, and as an adult was so helpful during the past year with my brother Dan while he was recovering from surgery, and with my parents. In the past year we talked about trying to be good parents to our kids and being single parents. I can't believe he's gone. My heart goes out to his family and especially his daughters.

I will miss my little cousin as I called Jon. So many memories of Jon coming down in the summers when he was younger. I will miss are many phone calls we shared over the last years since are divorces and are daughter's too. It helped us both being able to talk to each other. We laughed so much about things also. I He touched our lives and I will always remember him. My prayers to Ruth and Sara Jim,Lou,Ann,Leo and Alice.

I grew up with Jon. He was always the older, protective cousin. So many memories of our families during get togethers will live on. He was a kind hearted man who was devoted to his girls and family. I will miss him. I know mom greeted Jon with fudge, his favorite treat of Elaine's. May peace be with him and his family.

We will forever miss Jon. He was like a 3rd son to Bennie and I and a younger brother to Scott, Dan and Lori. I think we developed a special closeness when he was a little boy and helped me pack Tupperware for several years. Jon was so helpful to all of us. Last summer he helped Dan through his kidney stone problems and put up a new light in our basement that had been giving us trouble. Another special time for us was when he drove our motorhome to Texas in 2009 and 2010. RIPJon
