I really enjoyed the times I talked with her. From working together on the church council to just talking about life, she was kind and had a boisterous spirit. She was never afraid to speak her mind and many a time I just laughed at how expressive she was in doing so. And, she supported scouting in our community and was excited to see our troop go hiking in the mountains. I’ll miss her but I know she is in a better place and I will always have the memories. God bless the family during these trying times.

Sorry to hear of the loss of such a caring person! Your Mom was a quilter with mine (Darlene Beck) at OSL. When my mother needed to enter the nursing home, Kay would send her little notes of encouragement and sometimes they would include a cute little "quilt" to remind my Mom that someone was thinking of her ~ Mom so appreciated those notes and quilts. I picture them quilting together again! God's strength to you during this time ~ Ginny
