Levina L. Brosdahl

Levina Brosdahl, 89, of Fosston, formerly of Warren, MN, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, in her home in Cornerstone Residence, Fosston, MN.

Levina Laura Johnson was born on July 13, 1927, to Hjalmer and Frederica (Groessiellier) Johnson, in Alvarado, MN. She was raised in Alvarado, with her nine siblings. After her marriage to Harry Christofferson, Levina moved into Warren. On July 22, 1972, Levina was united in marriage to Robert Brosdahl. They continued to make their home in Warren, where Levina would live until 2013, when she moved into Cornerstone Residence in Fosston.

Levina had a deep faith and was a longtime member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Warren, and was active in the American Legion Auxiliary for many years. She was an avid reader, put together many, many puzzles over the years, and enjoyed playing games, especially RummiKub. Levina loved to visit with her family and friends, and will be remembered for her deep love for her family, both close and extended.

Levina is survived by her children, Sheila (Robert) Mort and Kristie Ranjine May; her daughter-in-law, Pat Christofferson of Cambridge, MN; brother, Maynard Johnson of San Bernadino, CA; grandchildren, Ricky Brule, Joshua (Jenny) Christofferson, Emily (Joshua) Wood, and Sheldon Scharer; four great-grandchildren, Kelby, Jordan, Coty, and Elliot; and many special nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Robert, who passed away on November 17, 1997, Levina was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon; son, Gary; and infant son; and siblings, Gloria, Charlotte, Helma, Lillian, Lilly, Violet, Viola, Melvin, and Hillmer.

Funeral Service: Friday, April 28, 2017, at 2:00 PM, in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Warren, MN.
Visitation: One hour prior.
Interment: Greenwood Cemetery, Warren, MN.
