Mildred J. Nordblom

Mildred Nordblom, 91, Warren, MN, formerly of rural Oslo, MN, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at the Good Samaritan Center in Warren.

Mildred J. Monson was born on March 21, 1914 in Argyle, MN, the daughter of Joe and Hilda (Aasand) Monson. She was raised in rural Argyle and attended country school. On November 26, 1939, she was united in marriage to Edgar Nordblom in Warren. They made their home in Big Woods Township, Marshall County, MN (rural Oslo) where they farmed. In 1976, they moved to Warren. Mildred was a store clerk for five years and also sold Tupperware for twenty-seven years. Edgar and Mildred sold Electrolux products for over thirty years. She moved to the Good Samaritan Center on October 30, 1997. Edgar died on September 15, 2001.

She was a member of Bigwoods Lutheran Church and it's ALCW.

Left to mourn her passing are two sisters; Helen (Newell) Aas and Joyce Haugen, both of Oslo, MN, brother, James Monson of Argyle, MN and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers, Lyman, Norton and Maxwell and sister, Jean Lindblad.

FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 22, 2005 at the Bigwoods Lutheran Church in rural Oslo, MN.
VISITATION: 4:00 - 6:00 PM on Friday at the DuBore Funeral Home, Warren, MN and one hour before services in the church on Saturday.
INTERMENT: Bigwoods Lutheran Church, rural Oslo, MN.
