Ralph "Chuck" P. Chwialkowski

Ralph “Chuck” Chwialkowski, 75, formerly of Stephen, MN, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, in his home at Maple View Basic Care, Fargo, ND.

Ralph Peter was born on September 8, 1941, to Peter F. and Pauline (Benke) Chwialkowski, in Nelson Park Township, Marshall County, MN. He and his eight siblings grew up on the family farm, and Ralph attended school in Strandquist, MN. After he was married, Ralph moved into Stephen, where he would live and raise his family. He worked for many years on various farms, drove truck, and drove bus, among other jobs. In 1994, Ralph moved from Stephen to the Fargo-Moorhead area, to be near his daughters.

In his younger years, he enjoyed following football and baseball on TV, but enjoyed watching his children play sports even more. He also had a soft spot for dancing and going on long drives. Chuck will be remembered for his sense of humor and his quick wit

He survived by his children Terri (Jason) Solberg of Glyndon, MN, Todd Chwialkowski of Stephen, Trudi Chwialkowski of San Rafael, CA, Traci Chwialkowski of Stephen, Trent Chwialkowski of Haines, AK, and Trisha Chwialkowski of Glyndon, MN; siblings, Julie Pawloski of Stephen, MN, Virginia Knoll of Grand Forks, ND, Marge (Mel) Clark of Fargo, ND, Anne Billings of Lake Bronson, MN, and David Chwialkowski of Grand Forks; several nieces and nephews; and former spouse Mary Ann Chwialkowski of Stephen, MN.

Ralph was preceded in death by his daughter, Tami; his parents Peter and Pauline Chwialkowski; brothers, Eugene and Edmund; sister, Lucille Watson; and niece, Julia Chwialkowski.

Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 10:30 AM, in St. Stephen Catholic Church, Stephen, MN.
Visitation: One hour prior to Mass.
Interment: St. Stephen Catholic Cemetery, Stephen, MN.
