Robert Lindblad

Robert Lindblad, 73, of Warren, MN, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Karlstad Healthcare Center in Karlstad, MN.

Robert Allen Lindblad was born on June 20, 1942 in Faribault, MN, the son of Violet Lindblad. He was raised in Faribault where he attended school. As a young man, he moved to Middle River, MN where he worked for a farmer. On December 7, 1973, he was united in marriage to Mary Jane Harris. They made their home in Warren. He worked for the City of Warren, American Crystal Sugar and the Good Samaritan Center. Robert also worked at the Warren Skating Rink for many years.

He enjoyed collecting cars and watching Nascar.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Mary; sister, Marlyce Ballingrud of Grand Forks, ND; brothers-in-law, Harry Harris of St. Louis Park, MN and Hillman Harris of Argyle, MN; aunt, Eunice Swensen of St. Paul, MN; foster sister, Naomi Johnson; several cousins and special great niece, Ruby.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Violet Erickson; son, Terry; brothers-in-law, Leonard Harris and Phil Ballingrud; sister-in-law, Audrey Harris; two nieces, Tina DeLash and Rosanne Longtine and foster parents, Joe and Hazel Blom.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Warren, MN.

VISITATION: One hour before services at the church.

INTERMENT: North Bigwoods Cemetery, rural Argyle, MN.

MEMORIALS PREFERRED: Good Samaritan Center in Warren, MN
