Sharon Klegstad

Sharon Klegstad, 78, of Warren, MN, passed away Sunday morning, December 18, 2016 at home with her family by her side.

Sharon Marie Sele was born on June 22, 1938 in Lake Bronson, MN, the daughter of Thorvald and Mildred (Vagle) Sele. She was raised in Lake Bronson where she graduated from high school. On April 23, 1960, she was united in marriage to Henry Klegstad Jr.. They made their home in Lake Bronson and Beltrami, MN before moving to Warren in 1963. Sharon worked at the Warren Bakery and as a cook at Warren High School before becoming the activities director at the Good Samaritan Center. Henry died on February 25, 2014.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Warren.

Sharon loved feeding the birds, playing cards with her friends and spending time with family and friends.

Left to mourn her passing are her three children, Gary (Linda) Klegstad, Wayne Klegstad and Jodi (Curtis) Kaiser all of Warren, MN; six grandchildren, Amber Safranski, Emily Johnson, Anthony W. Kaiser, Anthony R. Kaiser, Pearl Kaiser and Veronica Kaiser; three great-grandchildren, Riley Keenan, Aiden Johnson and Logan Johnson; three siblings, Darlene Gustafson of Bloomington, MN, Wally (Martha) Sele of Fridley, MN and Ricky (Patty) Sele of Lake Bronson, MN and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thorvald and Mildred; husband; sister, Debbie Carlson and brother, Glen Sele.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at First Lutheran Church in Warren, MN.

VISITATION: One hour before services at the church.

INTERMENT: Greenwood Cemetery, Warren, MN
