William "Bill" Hanson

William “Bill” Hanson, 72, of Stephen, MN, passed away early on Tuesday morning, October 25, 2016 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

William Arthur Hanson was born on September 1, 1944 in Minneapolis, MN. He graduated from Stephen High School in 1963 and attended Aviation Tech College in Thief River Falls, MN. Bill worked as a farmer and aviation mechanic and was presently employed at Argyle

Co-Op in Argyle.

Bill enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed tinkering with his tractor and taking care of his garden. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Left to mourn his passing are his four sons, Troy Hanson of Stephen, MN, Keith Hanson (Barb) and Kent Hanson (Wendy Stinar) all of Argyle, MN and Will Hanson (Brenda Vonasek) of East Grand Forks, MN; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and sister, Marilyn (Glenn) Carlson of Stephen, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Edith Hanson.

SERVICE: 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at DuBore Funeral Home in Warren, MN.

VISITATION: One hour before the service.
