Quanrud Funeral Home was started in 1937 by Rudy Quanrud. He was joined by Charles DuBore, his nephew, in 1958 after he completed his Mortuary Science degree from the University of Minnesota. Charles later became a partner. Rudy retired from active funeral service in the 1970’s.

In the summer of 1988, Charles’s son, Michael, joined the firm and became a partner after he completed his Mortuary Science degree at the University of Minnesota. In 1994 the name was changed to Quanrud-DuBore Funeral Home and in 2005, the name was changed to DuBore Funeral Home.
