Abe has been on my mind lately, and I decided to search. It took my breath when I learned of his passing, but it gives me peace to know he is reunited with his “Partner”. He never referred to her as his wife, his love was always his partner. He spoke to me many times the things he missed about Laura, I don’t think he ever stopped mourning. He honored me when he asked if I would help carry her to her final rest. My sincere sympathy goes out to his family and friends, he was one of my best friends in St Joe, and I miss him. I have many stories about Abe I hope never forget. I’m so sorry, Rest In Peace good friend.

I worked with Abe as a Public Health nurse and saw him at the Nursing home every week, once you met him you just loved him and his smile. He did have a quick wit, when we were doing his admission we asked " Has anyone touched you inappropriately?" And he answered, "No.....I wish!" We all cracked up. My thoughts are with.
