Arvin "Bud" Maurstad

Arvin “Bud” Maurstad, 92, of Warren, MN, passed away on March 5, 2019 at his home in Warren, MN.

Arvin Elmer Maurstad was born on July 15, 1926 in Donnelly Township, Marshall County, MN, the son of Ole and Olga (Andeen) Maurstad. He moved with his family to a farm east of Argyle, MN in 1932. Arvin attended country school. He worked several jobs over his lifetime including doing road construction for most of his working life, farmed for a short period of time and drove truck for TransSytems for several years. In the mid 1990's, he moved to Warren. His mother lived with him until she passed away in 1996.

Bud was know for his immaculate garden and he would share his produce with his neighbors and people who helped him with his healthcare.

Left to mourn his passing are his brother, Arnie (Iris) Maurstad of Argyle, MN; sisters, Shirley Cordts of Grand Forks, ND, Anna Mae Nelson of East Grand Forks, MN and Alice Grochowski of Inver Grove Heights, MN and many nieces, nephews, cousins.

He was preceded in death his parents, Ole and Olga Maurstad; brothers, Leslie, Myron, Maurice, Peter, and Milford and sisters, Lorraine Karr and Jean Wendel.

SERVICE: 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at DuBore Funeral Home in Warren, MN.

VISITATION: One hour before services.

INTERMENT: Alma Lutheran Cemetery, rural Argyle, MN.
