Cleone Plencner

Cleone Plencner, 85, of Fargo, ND, longtime resident of Warren, MN, left this earth to be with her Lord and Savior on Easter Sunday, April 1st, 2018.

Cleone Swanson was born October 29, 1932 at Oslo, MN, the daughter of Gustaf & Clara (Wang) Swanson. She attended county school, & graduated from Oslo High School in 1950. She attended Aakers Business college. After completing college, She worked for Nodak Electric in Grand Forks. She married Leonard M. Plencner on July 2, 1953 in Argyle, MN. They moved to Cavalier, ND, and she worked for the Pembina County Treasurer's office. They moved back to Warren where she worked for Marshall County ASCS (FSA) for 35 years, retiring in 1990. Cleone and Leonard spent many weekends over the years at their home at Lake of the Woods. After retirement they enjoyed fifteen winters in Mesa, AZ. Leonard passed away on July 3, 2012.

She was a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, the local Altar Society, and the Warren American Legion Auxiliary,

Cleone is survived her children, Linda Plencner of Lafayette, CO, Deb (Steven) Fawcett of Coon Rapids, MN, and Mark (Stacy) Plencner of Frazee, MN; grandchildren, Daniel (Kirsten)Fawcett of Mount Horeb, WI, Laura (Ryan) Doron of Elk River, MN, Michael (Nina) Fawcett of Round Rock, TX, Joshua (Jessica Berg) Plencner of Schenectady, NY, and Joseph (Katy) Plencner of Honolulu, HI; great-grandchildren, Zak, Owen, Calli, Charlie; brother, Gordon (Lois) Swanson of Garfield, MN; and sisters-in-law, Judy (Dwight) Flaten of Karlstad, MN, and Helen Plencner of Fargo, ND.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, James, Kenneth, and Duane.

FUNERAL LITURGY: Friday, April 6, 2018, at 10:30 AM, in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Warren, MN.
VISITATION: One hour prior, with a Eulogy given at 10:15 AM.
INTERMENT: Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Warren.
