Debra Alexander, 61, of East Grand Forks, MN, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018, under care of hospice in Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, MN.
Debra Ann was born on October 3, 1957, in St. Paul, MN, to Dolores (Holm) and Adolph “Eddie” Kasprowicz. When she was a young girl, the family moved back to the Kasprowicz home-area and lived in Warren, MN. She graduated from Warren High School and lived in town for a number of years before moving to East Grand Forks. Debbie raised three sons as a stay-at-home mother, and loved the time she spent with her eleven grandchildren most of all.
Deb was known by all her neighbors, loved to bake and drop off treats to them, and played innumerable community card games. Debbie made herself at home wherever she was, but “home” was always back with her Mom in Warren. Though she struggled with her health these last few years, Deb always managed to think about others first. Even at her worst, her main concern was for her family, reassuring them that she would be just fine.
She is survived by her sons, Darick (Yuli), Jeremy (Shana), and Justin (Meghan) Alexander: mother, Dolores: grandchildren, Hope, Grace, Joy, and Evelyn; Tanner, Ivy, Gavin, Addelyn, and Ryker; Alexis and Raymond: siblings, Linda (Neal) Jennings, Brenda Przybylski, and Jeff Kasprowicz; and several nieces and nephews.
Debra was preceded in death by her father, Eddie; infant brother, Jimmy; brother-in-law, Mark Przybylski; and nephew, Jake Kasprowicz.
SERVICE: Monday, December 31, 2018, at 10:30 AM, in Zion Lutheran Church (LCMS), Warren, MN.
