Elizabeth "Betty" Grembowski

Elizabeth "Betty" Grembowski, 84, of Burnsville, MN, passed away on March 30, 2017.

She was born in Oslo, MN, raised in Warren, MN, and raised her children in south Minneapolis and Bloomington. As a hairdresser, Betty worked in salons before becoming the proprietor of House of Hair Design in Uptown Minneapolis for 10 years.  Her talents and interests included: traveling, decorating, gardening, and spending time with her family. 

She was preceded in death by son, Richard; brother, Lee Johnson; and sisters, Harriet (Dean) Brenner and Fern (Howard) Davidson.

Betty is survived by her children, Carol (Lowell) Schellack, Jackie (Alan) Welch, Joel Johnson, Joni (George) Montgomery, and  Paula (Dan) Johnson; seven grandchildren, Mellissa, Jessica, Jason, Julie, Molly, Cory and Jenna; six great-grandchildren, Allison, Trevin, Amalya, Emilia, Avery and Aiden; brother, Harvey Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

A graveside service will be  held at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery, Warren, MN.
