Nancy Wurtz

Nancy Wurtz, 53, of Warren, MN passed away on Friday morning, November 15, 2019 with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.

Nancy Ann Boman was born on July 20, 1966 in Warren, the daughter of John and Darlene (Mykleby) Boman. She was a life long resident of Warren and she graduated from Warren High School in 1985. On September 6, 2008, she was united in marriage to Joshua Wurtz. They made their home in Warren where she was a bartender at the Warren American Legion for many years.

She was the kind of person who touched everyone's life she came in contact with. Nancy was the rock of the family and never let anyone feel left out. She loved life, her children, grandchildren and most of all her husband who called her his bride. Her children and grandchildren were her life but so were all the children she came in contact with. Her second home was Florian Park where she loved to make family and friends morning breakfast, enjoyed floating on the water and playing pinochle. Nancy's favorite holiday was Thanksgiving. Her home was open to all. You didn't need an invitation, you just came over.

Left to mourn her passing are her husband, Joshua; four children, Joey Boman of Warren, MN, Chassidy (Sam) Beavers of Grand Forks, ND, Joshua Wurtz Jr. of Warren, MN and Jordan Wurtz of Grand Forks, ND; grandchildren, Gracie, Alexis, Gabrielle, Rogan and Honesty; siblings, Karen (Tom) Bushaw of Manvel, ND, Susan Boman of Warren, MN, Judy Boman of Crookston, MN, Mary Boman of Warren, MN, Jane (Jon) Kobetsky of East Grand Forks, MN, Cindy (Tony) Fenno of Crookston, MN and Jeff (Cindy) Boman; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Boman of Thief River Falls, MN and Susan Boman of Warren, MN; mother-in-law, Judith Wurtz of Yankton, SD and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Darlene, father-in-law, Joshua M. Wurtz; brothers, John, Donald and Thomas; sister, Patricia Bedard and niece, Patricia Boman; and stepfather, Robert Bedard.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Warren, MN.

VISITATION: 5:00 – 7:00 PM with a 6:00 PM prayer service on Tuesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Warren and one hour before services.

INTERMENT: Greenwood Cemetery, Warren, MN
