Amber Aleksic

Amber Aleksic, 38, of Argyle, MN, formerly of Strandquist, MN, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Amber was born on October 13, 1982 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Milan (Gig) Aleksic and Yelema (Lena) Aleksic. Amber and her father lived in Milwaukee where Amber attended various schools for special needs. In March of 2004, Amber and her father moved to Strandquist. At that time, Amber attended the Lake Bronson DAC until she moved to Marshall County Group Homes, Inc. Cedar South in September 2011. She attended the ODC in Warren, MN from 2011-2019.

She loved spending time with her father and going for rides with him. Amber enjoyed being with her housemates and residential staff, eating her favorite foods, swinging on her outdoor swing, going for van rides and eating out.

Amber is survived by her father, Milan of Strandquist, MN; mother, Yelema of Milwaukee, WI; brother, Kosta Aleksic (Jackie) of Meadow Vista, CA; three nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Private services will be held at Our Savior's Free Lutheran Church in Argyle, MN.
