Cecelia Lubarski

Cecelia Lubarski, 82, of Warren, died in her home, under care of hospice, on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, surrounded by her family.

Cecelia Rose was born on July 21, 1938, in Grafton, ND, the daughter of Dominic and Stephie (Feltman) Topka. She was raised in Warsaw, ND, before moving to Argyle, MN, where she went to school, and was married. On June 27, 1956, Cecelia was united in Holy Matrimony to Donald Lubarski. They raised six children in Viking and Warren. In addition to cooking for her family, Cecelia was a waitress and cook for her mother-in-law's restaurant, the Warren American Legion, and Warren Senior Meals.

Cecelia was very musical in her youth (playing the accordion) and loved music until the day she died. She especially enjoyed dancing the polka and waltz; and listening to golden oldies, Elvis, and classic country. She was a lifelong Catholic and watched Mass on TV when she was unable to go out.

Mama Celo is survived by her children, Peggy, Kenneth, David, Larry, Cindy, and Cheryl; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brothers, Raphael and Arnold; and uncle, Wallace (Evelyn) Feltman.

In addition to her husband, Donald, who passed away in 1981; Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Clarion, Clarence, George, and LeRoy.

WALK-THRU VISITATION: Thursday, October 1, 2020, from 5-7 PM, in DuBore Funeral Home, Warren, MN: there will be a limit of 25 people inside the chapel at any given time.

FUNERAL MASS: Friday, October 2, 2020, at 10:30 AM, in Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Warren, MN: there will be a limit of 125 people for Mass.

INTERMENT: Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Warren.

NOTE: Masks will be required indoors at the Funeral Home and Church.
