Cyndi Phillips Obituary

Cyndi Phillips, age 57, longtime loving mother, sister, and friend was unexpectedly called to her heavenly home on January 5th, 2022, at Sanford Hospital of Fargo surrounded by her children.

Cyndi Ann Phillips was born June 29th, 1964, in Santa Monica, California, to her parents Gloria and George LaGuardia. Cyndi’s family relocated to Venice California where she attended high school. Cyndi entered the workforce right away as a waitress at a local diner where she worked with her mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending her time with her mother and grandmother and when she wasn’t with them, she would try to spend her time with her two older brothers Mike and John, surfing, and walking the Venice beach boardwalk. Cyndi especially enjoyed listening to her brother Mike tell endless jokes.

Cyndi was blessed with two sons Nikko and Ty before meeting the love of her life Bryce. Cyndi and Bryce met and fell in love on a city bus in 1993 and later shared two more daughters, Brittney and Madison. Cyndi and Bryce found home in North Dakota where they raised their children in the small town of Larimore.

Cyndi was known for her boisterous personality and her contagious laugh. She spent most of her days with her family either in the sun at the beach, camping, or by the pool. When she wasn’t watching her sons play football on Friday nights, she was sharing laughs and telling stories in her back yard around a bonfire with drinks and loud music.

Cyndi was always a selfless, strong, and fierce mama bear who loved her family unconditionally along with anyone who came into her home. Cyndi never judged and welcomed all with open arms. Her children and grandchildren were her whole world. She cherished every moment she was able to spend with them.

Goodnight, Sweet dreams, God bless you, I love you, and Sleep with the angels.

Services will be held in her home state of California at a later date.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
