Darlene Anderson

Darlene Anderson, 77, of Warren, MN, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018 at her home under the care of hospice.

Darlene G. Gehrls was born on October 16, 1941 in Warren, MN, the daughter of Hugo and Loreen (Otto) Gehrls. She lived with her family in Radium, MN where she was Baptized on December 19, 1941 and Confirmed on May 20, 1956 at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Radium. She graduated from Warren High School in 1959. On July 17, 1959, Darlene married Marlin Anderson in Radium. They made their home in Warren. She worked for Robertson Lumberyard for a short period of time before going to work for State Bank of Warren. Darlene worked there for 33 years before retiring from Bremer Bank in 2000. Marlin died on December 5, 2011.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Warren.

Darlene loved spending time with family and her grandchildren and enjoyed tending to her flower gardens.

Left to mourn her passing are two children, James Anderson of Cut Bank, MT and Jacki (Duane) Hince of Grand Forks, ND; five grandchildren, Jeremy (Jessica Swanson) Anderson, Jacob (Kelly Kalbrener) Landreville, Joe Hince, Miranda Anderson and Cassie Jones; one great-granddaughter, Addisyn; three great-grandsons, Hunter, Alec and Lee; sisters-in-law, Joan Gehrls and Lil Anderson; brother-in-law, Curtis Anderson and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugo and Loreen, husband, Marlin and brother, Alan Gehrls.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church in Warren, MN.

VISITATION: After 5:00 PM with a 6:30 PM prayer service on Monday at Zion Lutheran Church in Warren and one hour before services on Tuesday at the church.

INTERMENT: Greenwood Cemetery, Warren, MN
