Darlene Wesolowski

Darlene Wesolowski, 72, of Stephen, MN, went to meet the Lord on Thursday morning, October 19, 2023, with her husband, David, by her side.

Darlene Ann Kurowski was born on April 24, 1951 in Warren, MN, the daughter of Matthew and Stella (Rominski). She was raised in Stephen and graduated from Stephen High School in 1969. After she graduated, Darlene attended Thief River Falls AVTI where she studied business. On August 3, 1983, she was married to David Wesolowski in St. Stephen Catholic Church. They made their home in Stephen. She worked in the office at PKM Electric Cooperative in Warren for over 30 years. Darlene was also a part time driver for Home Health.

She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church where she was active with the Ladies Aid, Sunshine Committtee and being a Eucharistic Minister. David would drive Darlene around on Wednesdays to bring Communion to shut ins.

Darlene had a deep faith in God. She loved her angels and rocking chairs and had a green thumb for growing flowers and plants. Darlene enjoyed her neighbors and had a great love for her nieces and nephews.

Left to mourn her passing are her husband of over 39 years, David; sisters, Nancy (Kurowski) Hebert of O'Fallon, MO and Jennifer (Scott) Kazmierczak of Fargo, ND; sister-in-law, Audrey (Kroll) Kurowski of Wahpeton, ND and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Stella; sister, Karen Bergeron; brother, Richard Kurowski and brother-in-law, Gary Hebert.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 10:30 AM, in St. Stephen Catholic Church, Stephen, MN.
VISITATION: Wednesday evening, October 25, in St. Stephen Catholic Church, starting at 5:00 PM, with a Rosary at 6:15 PM and a Prayer Service at 6:30 PM; and one hour prior to Mass on Thursday.
INTERMENT: St. Stephen Catholic Cemetery, Stephen, MN
