Eileen Beda Setterholm was born on September 22, 1919 at home on the farm in Wright Township, near Florian, MN, to Robert and Mabel (Swanson) Setterholm. Eileen was raised on the family farm and attended District 50 Country School. She graduated from high school at the Northwest School of Agriculture in Crookston, MN. After graduation, she enrolled and graduated from the Deaconess Hospital RN program. Eileen served as a Cadet Nurse during WWII. After Clayton died in 1965, she moved with her children to Warren where she worked at the Good Samaritan Center until she retired in her upper 60s. Eileen earned her drivers license after her children left the home, thereafter driving into her 90s. She lived independently until she was nearly 98.
