Jason Halvorson, 45, of Grand Forks, ND, formerly of Warren, MN, died on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.
Jason Arnold entered this world on November 1, 1975, one of two boys born to Richard and Bay (Tran) Halvorson. He grew up in Warren enjoying all things “fast,” with a particular enjoyment of snow cats and 4-wheelers. He enjoyed hunting and fishing when he was young, and spending time with his Dad in the woods. After he finished attending Warren High School, Jason moved to Fargo, Thief River Falls, and Grand Forks. He was always going from job to job, from one big thing to the next. He was an extremely intelligent man and he seemed to be good at just about anything- though he preferred not to stay in one place too long. He liked variety: working as a mechanic one year and at a video game store the next. He had a number of friends and was loved by his family.
At heart, Jason was a good man in many ways who, like all of us, had his struggles.
He will be dearly missed by those he has left behind.
Jason is survived by his parents, Dick and Bay Halvorson; children, Jacob and Alexis; brother, John (Mae) Halvorson; nephews, Zach and Landon; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
