Jayson “Snuggy” Anderson, 63, of Argyle, MN, passed away peacefully early Friday morning, April 10, 2026, under the care of hospice after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jayson Otto Anderson was born on October 1, 1962, in Karlstad, MN, the son of Dean and Linda (Hangsleben) Anderson. He was raised in Argyle, where he graduated from Argyle High School in 1980. Following high school, Jayson attended Bismarck Lineman College.
He was united in marriage to Gaylene Narlock, and together they were blessed with a son, Tyler. Jayson made his home in Grand Forks, ND; Hallock, MN; and Drayton, ND, before eventually returning to Argyle. Throughout the years, he worked for Otter Tail Power and Stoltman Farms, where he built many lasting friendships.
Known affectionately as “Snuggy,” Jayson had a way of making people feel welcome wherever he went. He was quick with a joke, always ready with a smile, and truly enjoyed the company of others. He found happiness in life’s simple pleasures - playing darts, golfing, fishing, and sharing good times with friends at the casino. His greatest joy, however, was being outdoors, hunting deer and especially ruffed grouse. Jayson cherished his grandson, Calum.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Tyler (Ashli) Anderson; his beloved grandson, Calum Anderson; his mother, Linda Anderson; his brother, Jeff (Liz) Anderson; his brother-in-law, Charles (Kathy) LaBine; along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dean Anderson; his sister, Cynthia LaBine; and his infant brother, John.
