Jeffery "Swan" Swanson

Jeffery “Swan” Swanson, 62, of Eagan, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday morning, December 13, 2020 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Jeffery John Swanson was born on December 17, 1957 in Jamestown, ND, the son of Alfred and Lois (Wahl) Swanson. He was raised in Jamestown where he graduated from high school.After high school, Jeff graduated in 1980 from Moorhead State University with a degree in Physics and from University of North Dakota in 1982 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. On October 27, 1979, he was united in marriage to Becky Leigh Beaudry in Alvarado, MN. They made their home in Eagan where he worked for Northwest Airlines for twenty years and for the last fifteen years for Boston Scientific.

Jeff loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed the peace and quiet of fishing and spending time at the lake. He looked forward to deer hunting with family and friends every fall in Alvarado.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife of over 41 years, Becky; children, Katie (Bret) Kirchner, Erik (Amanda) Swanson, Meghan Swanson and Andrew (Renee) Swanson; grandchildren, Rylan, Lillian, Addison, Elsie, Harper, Henry, Oliver and Piper; siblings, Gaylon (Karen) Swanson, Carol (Dorwin) Marquardt, Dave Swanson and Neil (Mary Jo) Swanson and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Lois.

PRIVATE FAMILY FUNERAL: Will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at DuBore Funeral Home in Warren, MN.

INTERMENT: Oaklawn Cemetery, Alvarado, MN
