Jennifer Olson (formerly Holmgren)

Celebration of Life for Jennifer Louise Olson, will be held on June 17th, 2022, at the Newfolden Park, beginning at 12:00 noon.
 
Jennifer Louise Olson was born on June 17th, 1959 to Alvin and Dorothy (Gibeau) Olson.  She passed away on March 22, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Jennifer loved and lived life to the fullest.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as traveling, shopping, listening to music, dancing, helping others and caring for her animals.  In her spare time, she also loved gardening and scrapbooking.
 
Growing up, Jennifer attended Holt, Viking and Newfolden schools.  She graduated from Newfolden in 1977.  She was married in 1977, moved to the Minneapolis area, had her two sons, Cory and Kyle Grochowski, and enjoyed family life for many years.  Later, she returned to northern Minnesota, working and living in St. Hilaire and Warren communities.
 
Jennifer is survived by her sons, her grandson, Christian Grochowski; brothers David (Lisa) Cline of Florida; Daniel (Kathleen) Olson of Viking, MN; Art (Kay) Olson of Thief River Falls, MN; and many nieces, nephews, friends and family.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and Aunt Leona Neegard.
 
Jennifer will forever be missed by all.
