Jennifer "Jenny" Pederson

Jennifer “Jenny” Pederson, 48, Warren, MN, formerly of Euclid, MN, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Jennifer Ann was born on June 18, 1976 in Crookston, MN, the daughter of Mark and Mary (Maurstad) Pederson.  She was raised in Warren where she graduated from Warren High School in 1994. Jennifer later graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice & Social Work.  Jenny made her home in Euclid where she worked as a Social Worker at Riverview Health in Crookston, MN for many years.  She later worked as a social worker for Williams County, ND.  Jenny moved back to Warren in 2020.

She was a very caring person who put others before herself.  Jenny was an excellent caregiver.  She committed an enormous amount of time to helping family, especially her mother, Mary, through her years of medical challenges.   Jenny's yard was full of colorful flowers that she enjoyed taking care of.  She liked collecting various knickknacks whether they were found at a rummage sale or homemade.  Jenny also enjoyed her "projects", from various arts & crafts, refinishing woodwork, or at times even building new.    

Jenny cared deeply for her pets and treated her dogs like they were her children.  She rarely went anywhere without her two precious dogs, Elfie and Rocky.   

Left to mourn her passing are her father and stepmother, Mark and Elaine Pederson of Warren, MN; siblings, Joey Pederson of East Grand Forks, ND and Cassie (Jorge) Guerrero of Thief River Falls, MN; niece and nephews, Kelsi Pederson, Tucker Pederson, Elliot Guerrero and Aiden Guerrero, step brothers & sisters and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary; sister-in-law, Julie Pederson and her grandparents.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Warren, MN.
VISITATION: One hour before services.
INTERMENT: Greenwood Cemetery, Warren, MN.
