John Abrahamson Obituary

John Abrahamson, 79, of Warren, MN and Osseo, MN, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at North Star Manor in Warren, MN.

John Fred Abrahamson was born on August 16, 1940 in Warren, MN, the son of Fred and Elizabeth (Stano) Abrahamson. He was raised in Warren where he attended school. John went to Staples Vocational School in Staples, MN where he trained to become a machinist. John married Nancy Hanson on May 13, 1957. They made their home in Osseo and John worked for FMC of Fridley for 30 years.

He enjoyed going to the cabin on Pelican Lake and fishing and hunting.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Nancy; son, Jeff (Lori) Abrahamson of Hillman, MN; daughter-in-law, Mellisa Abrahamson of Otsego, MN; grandchildren, Josh (Kelly) Abrahamson, Ashlee Just, Joseph (Holli) Abrahamson, Jordan (Chris) Mount and Jacob Abrahamson; four great-grandchildren, Jaiman, Karlee, Rayna and Bennett; siblings, Richard (Diane) Abrahamson of Warren, MN, Betty (Eugene) Bengs of Thompson, ND and Fern Frothingham of San Antonio, TX and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Elizabeth; son, Justin Abrahamson and sisters, Anna Mae Sletten, Donna Engelstad, Lillian Wilson and Dorothie Abrahamson.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Will be held when it is safe to gather.

INTERMENT: Greenwood Cemetery, Warren, MN
