John Omdahl, 84, of rural Warren, MN, passed away at his home on Monday morning, October 27, 2025 with his family by his side.
John Elliot was born on June 22, 1941 in Warren, MN, the son of Walter and Ruby (Swanson) Omdahl. He was raised in Warren where he graduated from Warren High School in 1959. John attended and graduated from Bemidji State University with a degree in Social Studies. On February 21, 1965, he was united in marriage to Connie Landry. They made their home in Warren where they raised their two sons, Randall and Brian. John had several careers over the years including farming for 15 years, taught school for 3 years, managed the Marshall County Co-Op for 5 years and owned and operated John's Ag Service for 27 years. In their retirement years, they wintered in Oro Valley, Arizona.
He was a member of the National Audubon Society and the WPP Audubon Sanctuary.
Grateful to have shared his life are his wife of over 60 years, Connie; two sons, Randall Omdahl of Mesa, AZ and Brian Omdahl of Warren, MN; sister, Suzie Jevning of Warren, MN; brother, Ray (Starr) Omdahl of Green Valley, AZ and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ruby; brother, Kent Omdahl and brother-in-law, Gerald Jevning.
