Julian "Sonny" Kostrzewski

Julian “Sonny” Kostrzewski, 79, of Argyle, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at his home.

Julian was born on March 10, 1942 in rural Argyle, MN, the son of Steve and Alice (Pokrzywinski) Kostrzewski. He was a life long resident of the Argyle area. Julian married Debra Przybylski. Julian worked construction for Nodak and Valley Contracting until he was hurt in a construction accident in the early 1980's at which time he retired.

Sonny enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and playing cards with his family.

He is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Debra; daughter, Donna of Rochester, MN; siblings, Jeanette (Jim) Asp of Thief River Falls, MN, Richard Kostrzewski of Rosewood, MN, Jerry (Ellette) Kostrzewski of Thief River Falls, MN, Rosemary Kostrzewski of Wadena, MN and Gary Kostrzewski (Jane Vendell) of Shoreview, MN; aunt and uncle, Geraldine and Raphael Topka and many other relatives.

Sonny was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Alice; daughter, Kristen; brother, Daniel Kostrzewski and sister-in-law, Cheryl Kostrzewski.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: 10:30 AM on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Argyle, MN.

VISITATION: One hour before services.

INTERMENT: St. Rose Catholic Cemetery, Argyle, MN
