Julie Glass Evans

Julie Ann (Glass) Evans, 60, of Campton, KY passed away at her home on Saturday June 22, 2024.

Julie was born on June 2, 1964 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to William Frederick and Lois Elaine (Braddock) Tesman but was adopted and raised by Robert Glass following her mothers second marriage.  Julie grew up in Angus, MN and graduated from Warren-Alvarado-Oslo High School. She was baptized at home in Oklahoma City around her birth and confirmed at the Evangelical Covenant Church of Warren, MN.  She attended Northland College for cosmetology and enjoyed performing these services for close friends and family. Her whole life she had a passionate love of animals and took great pride in rescuing animals from euthanization. In the time she lived in Kentucky, she enjoyed offering free health services to the pets of any one who called on her.

She is survived by her son, Conrad Laduke of Thief River Falls, MN; her mother, Lois Glass of Angus, MN; two brothers William Glass of Angus, MN and Brent (Jennifer) Glass of Port Clinton, Ohio; a twin sister, Judy Maki of Fargo, ND; two grandchildren, Elijah Laduke of West Fargo, ND and Sasha Laduke of Thief River Falls, MN; and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Evans; her daughter, Felicia Laduke; her father, Robert Glass Sr; and two brothers, Robert Glass Jr and Grant Glass. She will be missed dearly and remembered always.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Friday, July 12, 2024, at 10:30 AM, in DuBore Funeral Home Chapel of Warren, MN.
INTERMENT: Following the service in South Bigwoods Cemetery, rural Oslo, MN.
