Kimberly Latta

Kimberly Latta left her earthly body on January 13, 2025.

Kimberly Sue Latta, affectionately known as Kimmy and Kim, was born on June 13, 1990 to Ellen and Scott Latta. Kim grew up with her big brother, Ian, in rural Morgan County, CO and rural Newfolden, MN. She was a beautiful girl with a beautiful heart.

Kim had many pets growing up and she loved them all, especially Tootsie, who was part of the family. Her little dog Jack was her confidante, companion, snuggle-bug and source of unconditional love for almost 20 years.

Kim attended school at MCC and Tri-County and she graduated from MCC. Her favorite subject was art and she despised math classes. Kim worked in customer service during her life and was known for her kindness and smile. She made many friends who were her co-workers and customers.

She was a voracious reader who also loved metal and old rock music , horror movies and purple flowers. Kim loved and collected memorabilia from The Nightmare Before Christmas and Adventure Time.

Kimberly is survived and missed by her mother Ellen Latta, brother Ian Latta and aunts and uncles, Nancy, Robert, Bryan, David, Dawn and Darren and seven cousins.

Kimmy was met in Heaven by her favorite uncle, Larry and her Grammy and Grandpappy – Donnis and Lloyd.

Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 2:00 PM with visitation starting at 1:00 PM at Rindal Lutheran Church - 23511 110th Ave. NW - Newfolden, MN 56738.

Kim was known for her love of band t-shirts, jeans, and pajama pants:
