Ludwina F. Budziszewski

Ludwina Florence Budziszewski was born October 27, 1927 in Wright Township, Marshall County, MN, where she was raised and worked on the family farm.

In St. Paul, she worked and retired from a career as a surgical assistant at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Lu, along with her brother, Tom, was a member of Saint Thomas Aquinas Church in St. Paul Park, MN, where she volunteered much of her time to parish events.

Lu knitted and crocheted, was an avid gardener, a meticulous housekeeper, and an excellent cook who provided abundant meals to anyone visiting their home.

Lu died on August 14, 2022, and was preceded in death by her parents, Anton Budziszewski and Mary Gratzek; sister, Ursula; brothers and their spouses, Gerard (Florence, Phyllis), Steve (Laverle), Wendell, and John; nephew and his spouse, Joe (Caroline) Budziszewski; and niece, Rosemary Budziszewski.

She is survived by her brother, Tom; sister-in-law, Muriel; the family of her nephew Joe and his wife Caroline; nieces, Maribeth (Bernard) Gonshorowski, Becky (Mark) Weber, Anne (Tim) Peiffer, Mary (Brian) Meyer, Corinne (Jim) Harris, Carla (Geoff) Peterson; nephews, Tim (Catherine), Tom (Beth), Mike (Susan), John (Heidi), Paul (Bekah), Brian (Laura), Anthony, and all of their families.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL IN FLORIAN, MN: 3:00 PM on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Florian, MN.

VISITATION: One hour before services at the church.

INTERMENT: Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Florian, MN.
