Marcia Busick Obituary
Marcia Busick, 78, of Warren, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, in North Star Manor, Warren, with her family at her side.
Born August 11, 1945, in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of George and Mignonette (Beaulieu de Hudon) Harthun, Marcia spent her childhood in Dent, MN. She was raised in lake country, and despite moving elsewhere in her life, her heart remained there. She was married to Bruce Lillis in 1963 and they had two daughters, Barbara and Cheryll. Later in life, Marcia met Robert “Bob” Busick, and the two were married in Grand Forks on September 19, 1991.
Following her marriage, Marcia and Bob moved to Warroad, MN, where they were both able to work for Marvin Windows and pursue life side by side. She enjoyed fishing, feeding hummingbirds, doing word finds, crocheting, and talking for hours on the phone. She cherished time with family, especially spending time her grandkids. Bob passed away on August 23, 2020, and Marcia lived briefly on her own before moving to Warren, where she could be closer to her family.
Marcia is survived by one daughter, Cheryll (Roman) Woinarowicz of Oslo, MN; step-son, Jason (Crystal) Busick; grandchildren, Brittni Woinarowicz, Joshua (Korina) Woinarowicz, Emilee Woinarowicz, and Lexi Busick; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Ashley, and Wyatt Bishop, Hadlee and Nikolas Woinarowicz, and Maicee and Jayce Woinarowicz; and sister, Joyce (Bruce) Wiese.\
In addition to her husband, Bob, Marcia was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Barbara Bishop; grandson, Ben Bishop; and sisters, infant Angeline Harthun and Georgene Fresonke.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday, October 30, 2023, at 2:00 PM, in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Warren, MN.
VISITATION: One hour prior.
INTERMENT: To follow immediately in Riverside Cemetery, Oslo, MN.
