Marcielle Anderson

Marcielle Anderson, 100, of Warren, MN, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at her son's home in Fargo, ND under the care of hospice with her family by her side.

Marcielle Darlene Gehrls was born on January 19, 1925 in rural Warren, MN, the daughter of Fred Jr. and Louise (Hartwig) Gehrls. She was raised in rural Warren where she attended country school. On June 30, 1945, Marcielle married Richard W. Anderson. They made their home in rural Warren where they farmed. Besides being a farmwife, she did sewing for a local clothing store and worked at several restaurants in Warren. Richard died on August 27, 2000. Marcielle moved into Warren shortly after Richard’s death.

She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Warren.

Left to mourn her passing are a son, Ronald “Ron” (Diane) Anderson of Fargo, ND, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; children, Sharon, Lisa, Duane and Pamela and siblings, Madeline Dargus, Gloria Mortensen, Maxine Hanson and Vernon Gerhls.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Warren, MN.

VISITATION: One hour before services in the church.
