Michael Gallagher, 62, of rural Warren, MN, passed away on Friday afternoon, June 12, 2020 in the comfort of his home after he lead a courageous and relentless battle against cancer, fighting until the end.
Michael Patrick Gallagher was the oldest son of James and Carlene Gallagher, born on July 27, 1957. While proudly serving our country for the US Air Force, he met his wife, Donna Solvik. After he retired from the Air Force, he continued with the Army National Guard. They have three children and eight grandchildren.
Michael had many professions throughout his life; bartender, truck driver who traveled the United States, drywall professional, farming, and an independent contractor in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Africa. Those closest to him knew of his self-proclaimed best profession: the “Intelligent Officer”. He was a jack of all trades and a master of none. He thoroughly enjoyed life as long as he was in control.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the doctor, nurses, and staff of Altru. Your care and willingness will not be forgotten.
Michael's last wish was for everyone to get checked for cancer and I love you.
