Robin Swanson

Robin Swanson, 51, of Warren, MN, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND with her family by her side.

Robin Lee Swanson was born on September 12, 1968 in Crookston, MN, the daughter of Gale and Gloria (Prather) Swanson. She was raised in Warren where she attended school before moving with her family to Rosamond, CA where she got her GED from Rosamond High School. On July 20, 2007, she was married to Greg Polk. They made their home in Stephens, AR where she worked as an Industrial Lab Technician for Deltic Timber. Robin moved back to Warren several years ago and she worked at Digi-Key in Thief River Falls, MN.

  She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

  Robin loved being a mother first to her son Roman Swanson. She also liked fishing, hunting and watching the Minnesota Vikings. She loved to dance and enjoyed spending time at the hunting camp in Arkansas. She provided amazing care to her parents for ten years. She was very selfless and devoted her life to the well being of her loved ones. 

Left to mourn her passing are her son, Roman Swanson (Gisselle) and grandson, Landon Swanson of Lancaster, CA; stepson, Dalton Polk of Statesboro, GA; stepdaughter, Katelyn Polk of Stephens, AR; father, Gale Swanson of Crookston, MN; siblings, Randy Swanson of St. John, ND, Renae Swanson of Warren, MN and Robert (Pam) Swanson of Camden, AR and niece, Alexis Swanson-Coleman of Los Angeles, CA.

  She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Swanson.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at 10:30 AM, in Greenwood Cemetery, Warren.

NOTE: Robin's graveside will be held concurrently with her mother's and father's interments of their cremated remains.
