Ryan Goroski, 41, of Audubon, MN, formerly of Argyle, MN, died unexpectedly on January 23, 2023.
Ryan was born on January 1, the New Years Baby of Warren, MN in 1982. His parents, Conrad and Lori (Butzin) Goroski welcomed him into a family that would include two older brothers, John and Mike, and a younger sister, Kristin. The family lived in Stephen before moving to Argyle. From a young age, Ryan fostered a lifelong love of automobiles. Following his graduation from Stephen-Argyle Central in 2001, he naturally pursued an education in Autobody Repair from Minnesota State Community Technical College in Detroit Lakes, MN; he would stay in the lakes area for the next 20 years.
Ryan enjoyed all things automotive, but excelled at detailing, painting, and simply appreciating the beauty of cars. His massive Matchbox and Hot Wheels collection attested to this. Over the years he was employed with both Norseman Motors and Nereson Automotive, working in various positions in the service department and being a jack-of-all-trades. In his spare time, Ryan was restoring his 1974 Maverick. Family was important to Ryan, and he enjoyed many family holidays and vacations with the Goroski and Butzin families.
He will be missed beyond measure by the many who love him.
Ryan is survived by his daughter, Summer (and her mother, Brianne Bender); his parents, Conrad and Lori; his siblings, John (Amy Albert) Goroski, Mike (Heather) Goroski, and Kristin (Karl) Flor; six nieces and nephews, Jake Goroski, Julia (Connor) MacGregor, Cody Goroski, and Madison, Kelby, and Max Flor; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Emelia Goroski, and Henry and Adeline Butzin.
Private Family Services have been held.
Interment followed in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Warren, MN.
