Terry L. Albaugh

Terry Albaugh, 72, of Warren, MN, died on Thursday, March 4, 2021, in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, due to complications of Covid-19.

Terrance Leon Albaugh was born on May 10, 1948, in Warren, MN, to Ralph and Marie (Renz) Albaugh. He spent his childhood on the family farm near Radium and worked on that farm almost his whole life. After graduating from Warren High School in 1967, Terry enlisted in the US Army. He served overseas in Vietnam before being honorably discharged. In early 1973, Terry fell head over heels for Debbie Perreault- the two would be married on September 22 of that year, in Gentilly, MN.

Terry and Debbie began their lives together back on his beloved homeplace 7½ miles east of Warren, where Terry farmed his own land and worked for other farmers over the years including Harry Howard and Earl McGregor. For the last 30-some years, Terry worked for his good friend, Steve Goodwin. He was incredibly helpful as a hired hand, being an excellent problem solver, tinkerer, and fixer of all things.

He loved his family very much. Terry had a contagious laugh that made you laugh. He loved to travel the country.

He was active in Immanuel Lutheran Church of Radium, serving in just about every capacity available to him. He was an Elder of the church at the time of his passing.

Terry is survived by his wife of 47 years, Debbie; three sons, Chris (Kari Gorzny) Albaugh, Ben Albaugh, and Zach Albaugh; and siblings Ralphine (Dale) Parent, Ralph Robert Jr. “Bob” (Judy) Albaugh, and Ruth (Ken Jr.) Beaudry; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Jodi Albaugh; and parents, Ralph Sr. and Marie.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30 AM on Friday, May 7, 2021, at 10:30 AM, in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Radium, MN; Pastor Chris Rosebrough presiding.

VISITATION: One hour before services.

INTERMENT: Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Radium, MN
MILITARY HONORS: Warren American Legion Post #27, and the Minnesota Honor Guard.
