Diane Chwialkowski

Diane Chwialkowski, 68, of Argyle, MN, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Diane McFarland was born on August 25, 1947 in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Vernon and Ruby (Swanson) McFarland. She was raised in rural Argyle and graduated from Argyle High School. Diane also attended the University of North Dakota. On November 26, 1966, she was united in marriage to Robert Chwialkowski. They made their home in Thief River Falls, MN for several years before moving to rural Argyle where they farmed.

She was member of the Argyle American Legion Auxiliary and Bigwoods Lutheran Church.

Left to mourn her passing are her husband, Robert; three sons, Jeff (Mary) Chwialkowski of Argyle, MN, Jay (CharRae) Chwialkowski of West Fargo, ND and Joel (Jaymie) Chwialkowski of Andover, MN; grandchildren, Gage, Sidney, Cade, Cooper, Darian, Nadia, Raina, Bethany, Bailey and Wyatt; sister, Bonnie (Marvin) Swanson of Alvarado, MN and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Ruby McFarland.

SERVICE: 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church in Oslo, MN.

VISITATION: After 6:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service on Monday at Zion Lutheran Church in Oslo and one hour before services at the church on Tuesday.

INTERMENT: Bigwoods Lutheran Cemetery, rural Oslo, MN.
