Eunice (Wages) Abrahamson

Eunice (Wages) Abrahamson, 90, of Warren, MN, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Valley Eldercare in Grand, Forks, ND.

Eunice Bren was born on December 20, 1925 in Hopkins, MN, the daughter of Frank E. & Eleanor Bren. She graduated from Hopkins High School and attended the University of Minnesota. Eunice married Ward Wages Jr.. on May 5, 1945 and together they raised seven children in Warren. She was very active throughout her life, and was involved in Bible Studies and civic activities such as Meals on Wheels, PTA and Hospital Auxiliary. Eunice also enjoyed the pleasures of gardening and nature. She had a love of music and cultivated it in her children.

On April 2, 1997, she married Jim Abrahamson and they lived in Warren until Jim's death on July 29, 2003.

Left to mourn her passing are her children, Gay (John) Oehlke of Minneapolis, MN, Terri Smith of Richfield, MN, Deb (Curt) Myrfield of Warren, MN, Mary (Gary) Warner of Valdez, AK, Paul (Karlene) Wages of Coon Rapids, MN and Eleanor (Dean) Peterson of Warren, MN; fourteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jeannette, husband, Jim and son, Ward Wages III.

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at DuBore Funeral Home in Warren, MN.

Visitation: One hour before services.

Interment: Greenwood Cemetery, Warren, MN.
