Leone Jorgenson

Leone Adele Jorgenson, 83, of Warren, MN passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at North Valley Health Center in Warren with family by her side.

Leone was born November 13, 1931 to Erland and Veva Nicholls. She was united in marriage to Earl Jorgenson on November 20, 1949. They farmed in rural Warren until Earl’s retirement where they then spent time at Springsteel Resort and in Brownsville, TX. They moved from Texas to Warren, MN the fall of 2012. Earl passed away October 2, 2013. Leone since then had a very empty heart. They were married almost 64 years.

In late March Leone moved to North Star Assisted Living in Warren. The residents there were like family to her. They shared meals and coffee time every day. Leone enjoyed watching NASCAR, visiting with family and friends but she especially enjoyed seeing her great grandchildren perform in sporting events, plays, musicals, and concerts. She was their proudest supporter!

Leone is survived by: sons – Richard (Becky) Jorgenson of San Gabriel, CA; Rodney (Carolyn) Jorgenson of Warren, MN; Russell (Theresa) Jorgenson of Upland, CA; son-in-law Kent (Karen) Espeseth of Andover, MN; 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and her precious lifelike cat, Stella.

Leone is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brothers (Harold, Mickey, and Jim), and her daughter, Marsha.

VISITATION: 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at DuBore Funeral Home in Warren and one hour before services on Thursday at the church.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Grace United Methodist Church, Warren, MN.

INTERMENT: Greenwood Cemetery, Warren.
