I was saddened to hear of Lucille's death. She was married to my mother's cousin, and my mother always spoke warmly of Lucille. Our family spent a lot of time with the Hams families when I was a child. Chrystal was a year older than me, but we played together during those family gatherings. My deepest sympathy to all who remain. May Lucille rest in peace.

Thank you to the family and the care givers who have shown their love to Lucille during her life, especially in these last few years. My mother, Edith, was an aunt to Lucille but they were only 9 years apart in age. They were more like sisters and were the best of friends. Chrystal and I were the same age, we were more like the cousins. I often visited with Lucille on the phone and she was always so proud of all her great grand children and loved telling me about them. You brought her much joy. Her memory was great earlier...and I would ask her about the Blomquist family history. I guess I am that person now that could answer more about the family history of the 7 of us first-cousins that remain. Lucille will be greatly missed, but I'm sure there was a wonderful reunion and much rejoicing yesterday when she found her way to her permanent home.
