Beatrice was my Dad's (Kenneth Larson) first cousin. I always enjoyed seeing her when we held parties for my Dad's birthday and for his wedding celebration when he and Eileen got married. She was such a nice lady and will be missed.

My beloved aunt Beatrice, you will always have a special place in my heart. I remember as a young kid, I always wanted to go see my aunt Beatrice. I remember her as a tall, strong lady with a huge loving heart. It seemed like anytime I was with her, she was working, scrubbing floors, carrying buckets of water, doing laundry, she would always keep herself busy, but always had time for me. I had always wished that we did not have to live 2,000 miles apart. I know that it is hard on those that you have left behind, my prayers are with you all, I know that you are now in the presence of our Lord, in a much better place, will be getting a new body, one that will never perish or age, and just enjoying things that you could never have amagined. Dear Beatrice, I so look forward to seeing you and spending the rest of eternity with the Lord, you and the other saints (only because of Jesus) down the road.

This passage from Proverbs 31;26-31 reminds me of you;
"She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: "Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all." Charm is deceitfull, and beauty is vain, but a women who fears the Lord is to be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates." Looking forward to our reunion, love you Beatrice!

My aunt Beatrice was very dear to me. I don't always remember things as they actually were, but some of my fondest memories are the time I spent in her home during the summers that Dad drove all of us Johnson kids from California to spend our vacation in Minnesota. I was always a bit shy, but loved being in the house that I thought was a gingerbread cottage. I loved the crazy stairs, the beautiful teenage twins who seemed like movie stars to me, sitting on the front porch reading Archie comic books, having supper at noon down in the basement, and being treated so special by my aunt Beatrice and Uncle Oscar. I remember her as a very strong woman with a fine sense of humor. One of the best adult memories comes from a visit to Minnesota with my husband, Arron, for Mildred and Kermit's anniversary. I was fortunate to have supper with Beatrice, Mildred, Janet, and my Dad, at Janet's house, where they all teased my Dad about being spoiled. I think I loved Beatrice even more because she reminds me of my Dad, in personality and looks. She will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you as we mourn the loss of a fine lady. It has been so very long since I have seen Beatrice, but I am now remembering the chats we often had when Beatrice lived just north of us on the Highway through Alvarado. I remember so well when you girls were little! God's blessings to Beatrice's family. Norma Edman
